(This sample course includes information to help you be successful in your studies)When you take a 3-credit online course, you can expect a weekly time commitment of approximately 10 - 15 hours (4 - 6 hours for the lecture materials and 4 - 8 hours for activities and homework readings).
The time commitment will depend on:
- how your instructor presents materials
- how quickly you read and absorb materials
- what activities are required.
Note: the required time commitment for all courses increases as a semester progresses and major assignments become due.

in an online course
Assignments come in many formats, but if you are taking an online course, or your in-person course has a course website, you will probably have to submit your assignments online.
The following give you an opportunity to "test drive" the most common assignment submission formats.

This case study demonstrate several key concepts related to book keeping. There is a short quiz at the end of each concept which you are required to attempt. You cannot move on the next concept until you have correctly answered all questions in the previous quiz.
