Adding these resources to your course
The following instructions will help you create a drop-down of student resources in your course:
- Add a new section to the bottom of your course by selecting the (+) sign:
- Re-Name the newly created section
- Note: If a date automatically appears you will need to edit the section to remove the date - select "Do not show the date" and save changes.

- Move the section to the top of your course page - select the topmost blue linked item.
You are now ready to populate the section with the tools.
- Open the activity/resource you wish to copy into another course.
- In the activity/resource Administration > Book Administration block, click on the Backup link.
- Select Jump to Final Step
- Confirm and Continue
- You will see an error - this is expected. Select Continue again.
Your resource is ready to copy into your course.
Navigate to the course you want to add the resources to.
Select Restore.
Select the backup file you just created and select Restore.
On the first screen, select continue.
Search and select the course you want to restore into.
Select Next
Select Next
Select Perform Restore
You may see a role mapping error. This is ok. Select Continue
