1. In the menu bar at the top of your course page, select Turn Editing On (top right corner).
   
2. Use the “cross” or “plus” icon  to drag a block up and down the left-hand column of the course page.
   

OR

1. Click on the Block Action icon to access the action menu

2. Select Configure NAME  Block
   

3. Set Default Region and Region both to Side Pre
4. Set the Default Weight and Weight as appropriate.  Note, once saved, you may need to adjust this depending on what was been set for other blocks.
   

5. Save Changes
